CTA Policies and Procedures

CTA adheres to set policies and procedures for every show.  In an effort to run a smooth and efficient show weekend, we ask that exhibitors read and understand the below outlined guidelines.

CTA reserves the right to change these procedures at any time, and will post any changed policy once it has been impemented.

MOVE UP POLICY: Pursuant to the rules identified by the UKC, a class change request form will be supplied to the exhibitor and completed at least ½ hour prior to judging on the DOS.  This form will be attached to the original entry form.  The Class Change policy is posted at the registration desk.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY: Pursuant to the rules identified by the UKC , CTA will allow substitutions of an entered dog, as long as it meets all requirements.  Substitutions will only be allowed to be made during posted entry times, not after.  Owners will be asked to fill out the completed UKC form along with a correction/class change form, outlining why they are doing a substitution

REFUND POLICY: Refunds will be given in the event that a scheduled judge cancels or cannot make the event due to events beyond their control, and the exhibitor does not want to show to the substitute judge.
Refunds will be given to Pre-entered dogs, if notified BEFORE the end of pre-entries.
Refunds will NOT be given to dogs that have been excused or disqualified.

A) CTA reserves the right to refuse entries, from any individual, at any time.

B) For liability reasons, CTA cannot assist an exhibitor with completing entry forms.  For further information, please refer to box #7 on the official UKC entry form.

C) It is prohibited, at anytime for anyone other than a ring steward, club member or designated appointee to be behind the judges table, at any time.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.

D) Groups are posted on the whiteboard outside of the ring that they will show in, all weekend.

E) Once a group has been posted, changes to breed line-up will not be made.  A request must be made an hour prior to the show-and will then, only be done at the clubs discretion.

F) Non-Licensed Classes will be held within the group/breed.

G) If CTA is hosting a CGC evaluator, it is the attendees responsibility to ensure that the evaluation does not interfere with their ring time.  If ring time is compromised, CTA will not refund.

H) CTA expects the exhibitor to clean up both the crating area and outside after their pet.  If you are grooming your dog, within the crating area, IT IS MANDATORY to sweep up your grooming area before leaving the facility each day.
